Nick Cannon has responded to erroneous rumors of his death by posting on Twitter that he is alive.
A tweet was shared by the Nigerian outlet on Friday Idoma voice with the caption: “Fact Check: Is Nick Cannon Dead or Alive? What happened to Nick Cannon?”
The related article reported that the Google search had allegedly produced results The Masked Singer Host Cannon passed away on March 12, 2023.
It also cited a Facebook page titled “RIP Nick Cannon,” which has garnered nearly 1 million likes from users of the popular platform. The site lists Cannon’s alleged date of death as March 15, 2023.
An apparently amused Cannon took to Twitter on Friday morning to address the hoax.
“Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death… They’ve been trying to kill me for years!!!” cannon wrote next to a laughing emoji. “What else do you have!?”
