Kellyanne Conway’s daughter, Claudia Conway, amused her Twitter followers Tuesday when she shared a fight poll from Ted Cruz.
The outspoken 18-year-old returned to the social media platform after it was revealed that her mother and father George Conway are divorcing after nearly 22 years of marriage.
Claudia Conway describes her political views as left-leaning. She’s made headlines over the years for publicly berating her mother, who worked as an aide to former President Donald Trump.
While her relationship with her mother has since been repaired, Claudia Conway has revealed that her politics are still vastly different from her mother’s. Earlier this week, she publicly supported talk of Trump being impeached amid news that he was facing a formal indictment for allegedly paying Stormy Daniels hush money in 2016.
The former president is also under investigation for efforts to overturn the outcome of Georgia’s 2020 presidential election; the events surrounding the US Capitol riot on January 6, 2021; and his handling of classified documents.
On Tuesday, Claudia Conway took aim at Republican Sen. Ted Cruz and the GOP’s collective outrage at the green M&M’s image shift, with the candy mascot’s go-go boots swapped for sneakers.
“Who wins in a fight?” Claudia Conway asked her followerswhen she pitted Cruz against the green M&M as the poll’s two options.
At press time, 98.5 percent of the more than 5,000 respondents had endorsed the green M&M as the victor in the imaginary battle.
The tongue-in-cheek poll drew a flood of comments from amused Twitter followers. One tweeted about the one-sided results: “I have to imagine that 1% of people accidentally clicked on the top option.”

“Yes that’s it! Some of us have been waiting for you to come back,” said one Twitter user answeredregarding the months-long hiatus she had taken from the platform.
After numerous conservative commentators expressed outrage at the green M&M’s redesign, it was announced in January that the brand’s candy mascots would be replaced by comedian and actress Maya Rudolph for the time being.
In response to the announcement, Cruz wrote in a quote tweet the candy maker’s statement: “A sign of the apocalypse.”
Kellyanne Conway, 56, and George Conway, 59, who married in 2001 and have four children, confirmed in early March that they had parted ways.
“We are in the final stages of an amicable divorce,” they said in a joint statement. “We married more than two decades ago, cherish the many happy years (and four corgis) we shared, and most importantly, our four incredible children who remain the heartbeat of our family and our number one priority.”
Trump – whom Kellyanne Conway served as senior counsel from 2017 to 2020 – celebrated the divorce. He berated George Conway, co-founder of the anti-Trump political action committee The Lincoln Project.
“Congratulations to Kellyanne Conway on her DIVORCE from her crazy husband, Mr. Kellyanne Conway,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform. “Free at last, she’s finally gotten rid of that disgusting albatross around her neck.”
“She’s a great person and will now be free to live the life she deserves…and it’s going to be a great life without the utterly unattractive loser by her side!” Trump added.
In response to the post, George Conway wrote on his Truth Social account: “Looking forward to seeing you at the E. Jean trial in New York next month! Hugs and Kisses.”
He was referring to Trump’s April 25 trial in New York City for E. Jean Carroll’s lawsuit. the previous ell The columnist is suing Trump for defamation over his statements denying allegations that he raped her in a dressing room at New York’s Bergdorf Goodman department store in the 1990s.
Regarding her parents, Claudia Conway took to Twitter to say that people “who hatefully comment on another woman’s marriage are either divorced, will be single forever, or haven’t met her husband’s secretary.”
The teen’s relationship with her parents has improved immensely after there were signs she wasn’t getting along with them.
Claudia Conway announced on Twitter in August 2020 that she was “officially pushing for emancipation” from her parents. She later revealed in a TikTok post in the summer of 2021 that she was on good terms with her mother.
“I know a lot of people are confused about my situation, but I’m happy and safe and my relationship with my mother is really, really good right now,” Conway said.
“She gets the guidance she needs, I got the guidance I needed, we got the guidance we needed together. And it’s all about breaking that cycle. So we are living proof that you can break this cycle.”
